• Volunteer (unpaid): Volunteering is personally rewarding, helps your community and may help fulfill TVLL volunteer or school community service obligations.
• Contractor (paid): Paid per game, fees vary by level and experience.

Umpire Training

• Must be at least 12 years of age
• Must commit to working 10 games or more during the February-July Season
• Should be knowledgeable about baseball, but playing skill or current rules expertise is not required (but must be learned via training)
• Attitude and effort to be the best umpire you can be
• Attend required Pre-Season Umpire Meetings
